Biography
Dr. Edwards is a Board Certified surgeon by the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery. She is a fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons. She was born in Sarasota, Fl. She started at Foot & Ankle Physicians in 2011. Prior to this, she graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Exercise Physiology. From there she attained her doctorate in New York City at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where she graduated with honors.

Dr. Edwards completed a three year Reconstructive Foot & Ankle residency at JFK medical center in Atlantis (West Palm Beach), Fl. During this time she participated in thousands of surgeries as well as countless hours in clinical offices and wound care centers.
She is well trained in both conservative and surgical care for a wide range of foot and ankle problems and deformities. She also has training in wound care management. Her previous degree also helps with treating sports injuries and athletes.

Over the years Dr. Edwards has seen patients from all across the area and has loved making such an impact to the region. She likes to make sure that patients, and their families, fully understand the problem and treatment plan. She is kind and understanding and always puts the patient first.

Dr. Edwards currently lives in Oldsmar. Her husband also works at Foot and Ankle Physicians, which in addition to our great staff, makes the office a family business. Outside of the office she enjoys watching movies and sports and being with her family. She is also a big Florida Gator Fan- Go Gators!
